Legal notice

Drop! places fundamental importance on data protection. This policy describes the data we process through this website and the commercial relationship, their purposes and your rights.

1. Data controller

Drop! SAS, SIREN 980 121 792, 17 rue Claude Bloch, 14000 Caen, France. For any question about your data or to exercise your rights: emartin@dropfontaine.com.

2. Data collected

On this site, we only collect the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form:

  • Professional identity and contact details: full name, organisation, role, professional e-mail, phone.
  • Subject of the request: nature of interest (demo, audit, partnership…) and free-text message.

For customers of the VizO platform, account data (professional identity, role, connection logs) and sensor measurement data (parameters, timestamps, measurement points) are processed under the contract. This measurement data is owned by the authority or customer and remains portable at any time.

3. Purposes & legal bases

  • Responding to your request and preparing a possible contractual relationship: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest.
  • Providing the VizO service to customers: performance of the contract.
  • Meeting our legal, accounting and security obligations: legal obligation.

4. No sale & recipients

Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. It is accessible only to authorised Drop! staff and our technical processors, strictly for the purposes above.

5. Processors & transfers

This site and its contact form are operated through Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA), which provides hosting and receives form submissions. This processing is governed by a data processing agreement (DPA, Article 28 GDPR) and, for any transfer outside the European Union, by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. The VizO platform’s operational data is hosted within the European Union.

6. Retention period

  • Prospects and contact requests: up to 3 years after the last exchange.
  • VizO measurement data: for the duration of the contract, then returned or deleted per your instructions (guaranteed reversibility).
  • Technical and security logs: up to 12 months.

7. Cookies & analytics

This site is static and does not use advertising tracking cookies or any third-party analytics solution. Only cookies strictly necessary for the proper operation and security of the site may be set, which do not require prior consent.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. You may exercise them at emartin@dropfontaine.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), access control for authorised personnel and data minimisation. The VizO platform applies reinforced safeguards (strong authentication, role-based access control, logging), detailed in the contractual framework.
